You will bring together 20 – 40 key revenue cycle leaders including both the clinical and financial stakeholders. Held at an offsite location to enable you to function creatively and without interruption, G+A’s Founder – Bobette Gustafson – will facilitate your team as they:

  • Study the current environment and understand the need for total re-design rather than an incremental approach

  • Define and document a series of revenue cycle evidences of excellence and articulate a vision-statement for their revenue cycle future

  • Develop group consensus regarding the ideal clinical, demographic and insurance data sets – committing to gather information only one time

  • Craft the ideal, patient-focused, clinically and financially integrated flow – from the point of patient scheduling through final account resolution

  • Concurrently record the specific “to-do’s” that will surface during this high level design – such as system functionality research, etc. – so these issues can be pursued during the pre-implementation phase

  • Work with a sample of exception revenue cycle process flows to learn how to proceed during the subsequent micro-design activities

  • Discuss the potential organizational structure ramifications based on the new model

  • Agree upon the “going-forward strategy” you will pursue to ensure you will fully implement the new model in no more than 1 year
